Privacy
This page explains what CEO Reminder App stores about you and why. It is written to be read.
What we store
- Your account: your email address, your first name, and a one-way hash of your password. We cannot read your password.
- Your items: the tasks and reminders you add, with their dates, notes and status.
- Sign-in records: the times you sign in, kept by our authentication provider to protect your account.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your data.
- We do not show ads, and this site loads no advertising or analytics trackers.
- We do not read your tasks to profile you.
Where it is kept
Your account and items are stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider. Emails such as sign-up confirmation and password reset are sent through our email provider. Each receives only what it needs to do that job.
Who can see your items
Only your account. The database checks every request against the signed-in account, so one account cannot read or change another's items.
Encryption
What you type into a task or reminder (its title, description, steps and the names in it) is encrypted in the app before it is saved, using a key that belongs to your account. The database holds only the encrypted form. Dates, status and priority are stored unencrypted so the app can sort and remind.
Voice input
If you use the microphone in the app, your recording is sent over an encrypted connection to our speech-to-text provider, Groq, to be turned into text. We do not keep the recording. We keep a daily count of how many recordings each account has made, to prevent abuse.
Deleting your data
You can delete any task or reminder in the app. To delete your whole account and everything in it, contact us and we will remove it.
